Abdulla Sayed Atyia graduated in 2016. He was involved in different sports competitions in Bahrain and abroad but was still able to balance his studies and extracurricular activities. He was in the Philippines representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in a Triathlon event on the day of his graduation. He has already received a number of accolades both from the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad.
He was awarded the Bahrain Medal and was presented to him by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He is also an Officer Cadet who received his International Award for Best overall results in Military, Academic and Practical Studies at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
He is officially a Guinness World Record Holder for running an entire marathon in full military uniform in December 2021.
Sara Khalifa Aljar graduated Salutatorian in 2018 and was awarded Best in Science and Best in Arabic Language. She delivered the Graduation Speech in Arabic and has recently delivered the 2022 alumni speech at the Grade 12 graduation ceremony.
She was very active in joining intra and inter school competitions and won several awards in the World Scholar’s Cup Bahrain round 2018.
After graduating from AMAISB in 2018, she continued her journey in Jordan to study the major that she loved, Medicine. Her first years were challenging, she said. Although she faced traumas in her early university years, she has been showered with love and motivation.
She is now connected to the General Physician Medical Training Centre at Princess Haya Military Hospital, Princess Basma Hospital and King Talal Military Hospital in Jordan and is now a 5th Year Medical Intern at the University of Jordan Science and Technology.
Christia Marie G. Ilagan is an alumnus who graduated Valedictorian in 2015. She was awarded Best in English, Best in French, Best in Computer Education and Best in Social Studies. She delivered her Graduation Speech in French.
At AMA, she was one of the first members of the school’s robotics team and won several awards in the World Scholar’s Cup Bahrain Round and Global Round in Bangkok, Thailand. She was part of the first class of graduating students who spent their senior year in the school’s current bigger location in Salmabad.
After graduation, she flew back to her home country, the Philippines, to start her journey in medicine. The first step, she took, was a four-year pre-medical course and she chose Medical Technology, an alternate name of which is Clinical Laboratory Science at the University of Santo. Tomas, Manila, Philippines. After receiving her diploma at the end of her internship, she went straight to medical school. According to her, it was the most challenging year she has ever had because it was simply exhausting juggling between board review as she prepared for the Medical Technology licensure exam.
In 2019, she took and passed the Medical Technology board examinations in the Philippines which gave her the title RMT (Registered Medical Technologist). She is currently a medical student at the same University, The University of Santo. Tomas, Manila.
